Our good friends in our Southern Hemisphere clique over in Chile are getting DUMPED on right now. The powder tap turned on a couple days ago and has been pumping ever since.
Valle Nevado resort went out yesterday with a recorded 125cm of fresh since the snow started falling from Wednesday. They posted the below on socials yesterday stating “We were silently hoping to surprise you. 125 cm of snow is the count we have taken so far! And still falling! We want to enjoy the snow with you again. Stay home to get over this wait as soon as possible”
Check out the below forecast for the next few days! Over another metre of snow is set to fall and then Tuesday looks like the day of the decade – over 2 metres of pow, blue skies and light winds.
Right now, Valle Nevado and other resorts in Chile aren’t open as they’re working through COVID-19, where everyone is still currently being urged to stay and work from home. They’re ready to go when or if authorities permit the resort to open for the 2020 season. So, maybe tomorrow?
Surely there’s some local heroes ready to enjoy the best week of there lives? Or have already started to…Social distancing on a pow day. We can get down on that.
