We’re stoked to announce that Burton Snowboards, GoPro, Thredbo and Cardrona have launched a new unique snowboarding video comp where the public picks the winner! Meet Battle Of The Bubble. Click here for all the details.
It’s a different take, and we’re into it. The comp is taking place on two custom built park features at Thredbo Resort in Australia and Cardrona Resort in New Zealand. A true battle of the bubble. Who will come out on top?!
The Thredbo and Cardrona Park crews have each designed and built their own unique Burton x GoPro snowboard feature.
How to enter?! It’s easy – Ride the feature, shoot a video (1 min or shorter), make your best edit using the GoPro Quik App and post to instagram tagging #BattleOfTheBubble22 @burtonaustralianz & @goproanz for your chance to win.
Entries open August 1st and close August 31st. Peoples Choice Award voting opens 1 September with winners announced alongside the Best Edit Award on 9 September.
Six winners will be chosen by a panel of industry experts to receive a prize pack from YETI, GoPro or Burton valued at up to $1000AUD.
These six videos will make up the finalist shortlist and from Sept 1st-8th, we’ll open the votes up to the general public where voters will choose the People’s Choice Edit worth $5000 cash.
The panel of judges will also pick their favourite video to be awarded the Battle of the Bubble Winner, also worth $5000 cash.
