THE QUEEN IS BACK! Chloe Kim is back at XGames this year and she quickly cemented her place at the top. Not only did she put down a very clean first run featuring a 10 up top and another 10 on the last hit, she also threw in a giant method. Chloe didn’t stop there, in her victory lap on run 3, we saw a switch method to NBD 1260 on the last hit.
Mitsuki Ono was close on Chloe’s tail with a big air Indy to front 9 tail that was both smooth as silk and double overhead. She finished off with a cab 9 on the last hit.
Xuetong Cai capped off the podium with the bronze position, again with a first run full pull. She put down a front 9, back 540, and then went old school with an air to fakie, a really nice alley-oop stalefish and a method.
Emily Arthur repped the Aussies, making her XGames debut tonight. After putting down a clean first run, she took a big slam on run 2. Unsure if we’d see her drop for run 3, she came back and laid out a very stylish run stacked with some classic airs. Emily finished off the comp with a big hug from Torah.
