Burton and Red Bull have linked up to present PAVED a brand new film co-produced by Burton and Red Bull Media House, dropping free on November 7th on Red Bull TV.
An unfiltered odyssey two years in the making, PAVED nods to Burton’s roots, then drops into Alaska, Hokkaido, British Columbia, Tahoe, and beyond. Narration with a dry wink threads heavy sessions with off-hand moments, where the riders’ voices reveal what’s really on their minds. Part history lesson, part hangout, part backcountry odyssey, PAVED is Burton’s most ambitious film in years: raw, wry, and lighthearted. Proof that style means nothing without soul.
The PAVED crew is stacked, featuring three-time Olympic medalist Mark McMorris, creative wizard Zeb Powell, backcountry powerhouse Ben Ferguson, Olympic gold medalist and backcountry pioneer Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, two-time Olympic gold medalist Anna Gasser, next-generation backcountry riders Brock Crouch, Ylfa Rúnarsdóttir, and Takeru Otsuka, backcountry icons Danny Davis and Mikkel Bang, and cameos featuring Burton team riders Maria Thomsen, Mikey Ciccarelli, Mikey Rencz, and Raibu Katayama.
