Valentino Guseli riding a different piece of wood and it's looking good...

Valentino Guseli is currently parked up at Laax in Switzerland in preparation for the big Laax Open event going down across 20-21 January.

He’s been dropping clips, letting the snowboard world know he’s on one and looking for a top spot in the upcoming event. Another thing he’s been doing, is not riding a burton snowboard…

Instagram will load in the frontend.

We reached out to Valentino, who confirmed that he is no longer riding for Burton Snowboards and has now joined the team and riding for Zen Snowboards.

Valentino said “they are really high quality boards. Hand made. Best board I’ve ever ridden”. By the looks of Valentino’s riding as of late, it could work out to be the ultimate match made in heaven.

Zen Snowboards, is founded and run by Swiss Zen master Reto Neiger. Reto says “For years I would hit the infamous natural gullies in the Hasliberg resort, honing my skills on the board. It wasn’t long before I started competing in banked slalom races, hunting for the fastest board that could handle this kind of terrain. I soon realized that the board I needed didn’t exist

In 2010 I built my first snowboard press and after 5 years of feedback, reiteration and constant evolution, I had accomplished a high-end board that was not only fun to ride in all types of terrain, but also put me on the podium of multiple world-class banked slalom races“.

Looking forward to seeing how Valentino and Zen Snowboards work together in the future. The Laax Open next weekend being the showground of what is to come.
